A must have for contact users.
This is the absolute best tool for inserting or taking out contacts. No matter how often I do it I still have trouble sometimes putting contacts in and I always have trouble getting them out. With this tool it’s a breeze, no more dropping contacts or irritating my eyes to remove contacts. I love it!

Does not work as described on soft contact lenses
The item is small as their description states. It does not work as described on soft contact lenses for insertion or removal. The suction does not hold onto your contact lens to insert and when attempting to remove the lens it sucks your contact and your eyeball. It will not grip the contact lens.

For removal, change your thinking!
For inserting contacts: think of it as a suction cup. It works! For removing contacts: especially if you have dalies or soft contacts; think of this tool as more of a spatula! Use the edge of the suction cup as your way of breaking the seal of the contact. I find it works best from the bottom up. (Literally look up!) Then carefully slip the edge of the suction cup under the edge of the contact. Takes some practice, and I suggest practicing the placement in front of a beauty mirror with magnification, but it works every time! And with 0 suction! I find the cup very flexible and thin and soft to the touch in my hand and on my eyeball. I dip the cup in solution, then place the contact on the cup and insert it in my eye. Easy peasy. Taking it out: dip the cup in solution and again, slip the edge of the cup under the edge of the contact and push it gently over your eye towards the opposite edge of the contact and it will break the seal and come right out!

It takes two hands.
Didn’t work for me. I was seeking a one handed device. This still takes two hands.

Does Not Work!
Doesn't even come close to working. When suctioned to the lens it will not move it around or remove the lens from the eye. All it does is lose suction with a small popping sound.

Insertion very good, removal- not so much.
Works Great for install into your eye. NOT so much for removal of soft contact lenses. The soft contacts won’t come off as easy due to the suction created to hold on your eye. Device will pop off before release from eye. I still had to use my fingers for removal of soft lenses.

Not that useful for thin slippery daily wear contacts
I purchased this becuase I recently started wearing multifocal contact lenses that are extremely slick and I was having difficulty in both inserting and removing the lenses. The item is smaller that I thought it was going to be, which makes it a little clumsy to use if you have large fingers like me. It is pretty self explanitory as far as their use, and each one comes in it's own clear plastic storage container with plastic lid. The main reason that I got these was to assist with removing the lenses from my eyes, which I was having significant difficulty with due to the slipperiness of the contacts, I just could not get them out easily. I could easily get the device suctioned onto the lens, but then I would not apply enough traction on the lens to get it off the eye before the device would break suction. I tried a number of times without success. From what I can tell, these would probably me far more usefull for monthly contacts that are significantly thicker than the daily contacts that I have. As far as inserting the contact lenses, I found that using them to insert the lenses in my eye was pretty easy after a couple of tries, however not all that much easier than just using your fingers. Overall I would say that these are not all that usefull for what I needed them for, but with different lenses I feel that they could be helpful.
