Review: WW II movie - It's an engrossing and one of my all-time favourite movies. Review: A Great Classic WW2 Saboteur/Spy movie starring charismatic Gregory peck. - Wonderful Movies and Memories from my childhood. Guns Of Navarone is excellent classic movie starring Gregory peck,David Niven,Anthony quinn and other stars.I admire this movie for its Charismatic stars and Greece settings. I value the childhood days when I had seen this but Now seeing it in Full HD is better and also you get to know understand things better. For those of you who havent seen it should see it as a Well Classic movie with Amazing men stars. The Nazi occupied Navarone island which is housing Canons to fire it Allied warships is posing a threat. Gregory peck and his men are sent in to use wits,Help from local Greek spies. all of the cast give good performances and the effects are preety decent for those days but even now.sometimes they can be better than ultra realistic CGI. Cinematrography-10/10 Cast/actors-9/10 Bluray quality-9/10 Extra features/documentaries-10/10

the Guns of Navarone : a classic war and adventure movie now to be enjoyed on a blu-ray format with pure HD sound as well is great. all the characters in this movie have played their role as true heroes of the story. recommended for action/war/adventure lovers AND thanks to the new technology. we can go back to history in HIGH DEFINITION.

I had seen this movie as a schoolboy in the sixties and liked it tremendously. Gregory Peck, Anthony Quinn and the others were simply marvellous. The film is so gripping as all Alastair Mclean books used to be. I read the book later and liked it a lot. Subsequently, as a grown up too, I have seen the movie several times and I therefore decided to purchase it for my personal collection.

With stunning action sequences featuring a star-studded ensemble, this WWII movie is worth paying for.
