My daughter needed a formal-ish dress for a daddy daughter dance and she loved this choice. The length was above the knee but still appropriate length for her age (8). The black fabric was stretchy and was a comfortable fit. The long sleeves were a sheer fabric with elastic at the wrists. You could also choose to do an off-the shoulder look, or not. It was true to size, great quality and awesome price. She had a great time and was comfortable dancing in it all night.

This is a beautiful dress for a teen girl. My daughter wore it to cotillion, and it was long enough on her to be appropriate for the dress code. It was fancy enough without being too overdone.
