Black Diamond Element 45 Outdoor Backpack

Did quite a bit of research before buying this backpack and can honestly say it ended up being exactly what I was looking for. Very lightweight and comfortable which is perfect if looking for a simple backpack

Bought this for my son who does a lot of hiking and he loves it. Not too big, not too small and lots of space without a lot of weight. Good buy.

I now own a BD Element 60 and a 45 cause I love this pack that much. This is my main Backpack. And yes it is waterproof. I tested it in Seattle. This craftsmanship is proof that backpack do not need to have a rain cover in order to be waterproof and lightweight. I know that this is designed for the snow, but you should really try it in the rain.... :)

I used it during my hike to Kota Kinabalu. It stays on sholders during move and distributes the weight nicely. Can be opened from the front so you don't need to toss your things if you need to access something at the bottom. I saw other people in my batch using the same backpack - so it's quite popular.

5 month backpacking trip completed with this sturdy backpack. handled rough situations including throwing around pretty well, able to handle heavy loads way over 90lbs with good distribution through the straps.cons: some of the fibres sticked out close to the end of the trip and may be a bit uncomfortable on the shoulders however

Just finished a 6 days trek in Nepal. I loved this backpack. The shoulder strap system is awesome. Only thing to make a comment is when it is warm your back will be soaked with sweat, but I expected that anyway.

Love this pack. Super comfy. Ideal layout and organization. Light but not ultra light- i like an actual frame.

今まで使っていたザックが壊れてきたので思い切って買い替えました。雑誌の記事などを参考にこのザックに決めました。45Lのアタックザック。ザックの素材は薄いが丈夫そうです。背負い心地が大変いいのが気に入りました。ショルダーハーネスが可動し岩場などで腕の自由度が増しそうです。
