Love this peeler. Lovely to look at and does the job. Bought many more as presents.

I love Alessi designs and was looking for a new peeler and this was it. Functional yet great to look at too. Sad as it is this peeler doesn’t live in the cutlery drawer but is on display. Seems small but great to handle and the blade is sharp!

I was given a number of Alessi kitchen implements as civil partnership presents many years, and have enjoyed that all ever since (the best lemon squeezer in history - a thing of absolute beauty that works brilliantly, and is easy to clean), so this was a treat to self. Once I'd worked out the best grip (second finger through the peeler, first finger to steady it and adjust the angle), it lives up to hopes. *Very* sharp, so be careful till you get the hang of it, but sweet potatoes and butternut squashes submit to it readily.

Quite the most elegant vegetable peeler you can purchase. Better still, one could never describe it as a sensible economic purchase.

This is so ergonomic, it is a pleasure to use. Obviously it looks stylish but it is also well made.

Let's admit it - I love Alessi designs. This is an alternative take on what is usually a dismal utensil. Twisted knot handle fits around forefinger and enables very fine peeling. Bright steel finish so unlikely to get lost amongst peelings. Stylish enough as a gift and beautifully boxed. Almost too good to use!

I absolutely love it I know it’s just a potato peeler but I love style and wow Alessi again provides this , I have many items from Alessi as it’s such quality, always looks new never tarnishes lasts a life time , you never have to buy another . Even the presentation box ! A big 5 star from me

I ordered this after my first one (which I was very happy with for many years) mysteriously disappeared (probably into the bin by accident). Unfortunately, it only lasted for three months, peeling the usual - carrots, asparagus, potatoes. This morning the blade simply snapped.

Comme toujours chez Alessi ; non seulement un très beau design mais aussi un objet utilitaire très bien étudié. On l'a bien en main et la découpe est parfaite. Le + pour ceux qui ont des problèmes de douleurs aux mains ; il suffit de passer le majeur à l'intérieur et de tirer vers soi. Je le recommande.

Probably the best peeler I have ever owned.

This peeler is so sexy and so easy to use! It’s super sharp and takes off a very thin peel — it’s perfect for a bar to cut twists, make oleo sacrum, etc. I’m going to buy more!
