Update: it turned out that the product was perfectly fine. What's not was the face wash. After I switched to a moderate face wash, the symptoms went away. And this lotion works so well in the winter. It helps to moisturize the skin without make it too oily (I don't wear foundation on top of it). The white cast is okay for regular Eastern Asian skin tone. I just bought a second bottle. ------------------------------------------------------------- I have been use PM lotion for months and it works very well. So I decided to try the AM lotion. At first, everything is good. The white cast on my Eastern Asian skin seems not bad. I didn't find it to be dry or oil. However, after 5 days, all off sudden, the skin around my eyes feels burning whenever I tried to apply moisturizer after face wash , even the PM lotion now becomes irritating. I didn't realized it was the AM lotion issue at first and changed other skincare routine. But none of them helped. Then I decided to see if the AM lotion is the decision factor ( I really hoped not). However, after a whole day without applying the AM lotion, the sting and burning goes away. Thanks god! It's not my skin problem. So unfortunately, this lotion is not for me . Though it's not so thick/oil/dry for normal skin, it can cause skin irritation.

I used to use Kiehl’s, this product is much more affordable and it feels like it responds to my skin type better. The texture is not oily all. It’s a lightweight lotion, that’s quick to absorb - no shine, no sticky film. What really sold me is how comfortable my face feels hours later. The hyaluronic acid paired with the slow-release hydration keeps my skin fresh all day, even after a sweaty workout or playing hockey. My redness has subsided, and my skin barrier feels stable and less reactive. As for sun protection, I no longer need to worry about forgetting to put on sunscreen or getting caught outside in the sun, without sunscreen. The broad-spectrum SPF 50 gives protects without thinking about it. The tube itself is compact, maybe slightly too small for everyday home use, but it’s small enough to toss in my toiletry bag when I need to travel. Pressures in airplanes can cause issues with containers, so far I’ve had no issues with the cap leaking. Overall, it’s a solid product. I’ve been satisfied with each refill.

I have bought this product a few times now. It's a good daytime, all purpose moisturizer with SPF. The reason it's not a 5-star lotion for me is because it's a bit heavy and feels a little sticky right after application. It's fine for the winter (and that sticky feeling does go away after a while), but I prefer something more lightweight in the warmer months.

This is a great price for this product. I paid more for the 35spf at the store with a red bullseye. This is a wonderfully light but moisturizing lotion that keeps my skin feeling hydrated and fresh while also offering the essential sun protection.
