This works well and is a good price, this is a large bag and should last a very long time.

I like it cause it adds a lot of protein to my diet. I put a tbl. in my daily smoothie, and put 2 tbls. when I make a loaf of bread for my bread machine to help it rise better. It has the typical texture of high quality flour, and is easy to scoop out and put a tbl. in the bowl. I haven't tried it yet for Seitan, but plan on it soon as a healthier hamburger substitute.

I am so tired of having regular flour, bread flour, cake flour, etc. This does a perfect job creating my own bread flour. The bread comes out light a delicious. There was so much here I was able to share with two of my granddaughters.

I use this gluten for both sourdough and pizza dough. It works perfectly for my homegrown recipes. The reason for four stars is that the sealing bag functionality isn't that great. I ended up just putting it into another container as the sealing is frustrating.

The vegetarian bologna that my Mrs. likes is no longer available so I set out to make her some home made "Phony Bologna". Vital wheat gluten is one of the major ingredients and I need a good amount of it. Unfortunately it is only sold in small packages locally. This VWG is fresh, does not have any strange odors or flavors and it allowed me to make a tasty phony bologna that my Mrs. enjoyed eating on my first attempt. Crisis averted. I will definitely be ordering this item again and again.
