I bought four of these to control 16 x 100 watt panels (2S x 8P) on my 12 volt RV Solar Power roof mount system. I like the Aims products that I already have and I liked the design of these PV array isolator/zone quick disconnect switches.I made an aluminum cage for mine but that's not necessary in most normal applications.

2 months of use and still working fine

The media could not be loaded. VERY DURABLE BUILT AND HEAVY DUTY TO DISCONNECT AND CONNECT THE PV MODULES SAFELY FROM THE SOLAR SYSTEM WITH SAFETY IN MIND , HAD TO MODIFY THE CLAMP IN CONNECTIONS TO FIT MANY DIFFERENT MC4 CONNECTOR BRANDS THAT SOME CLAMP TOOL WOULD'T FIT BUT WORKS LIKE A CHARM . RECOMMENDED PV SAFETY FIRST IS A MUST .

The 'Quick Disconnect Switch' arrived with something rattling around inside, possibly a loose screw. Given that this is a product that is meant to handle lethal voltage levels, a loose screw could be extremely dangerous as it could cause a short. There is no way to open the product without damaging it, so I can not check inside to see what it is that is rattling or fix it.

Makes code in Oregon easy install. I have them on 2 of my systems. And put them in for clients. And they are UL listed

This disconnect switch has been perfect for my needs. It works flawlessly.
