This is an excellent alternative; the 25% undecylenic acid concentration is noticeable. It's one of the highest concentrations I've found without a prescription, and it truly attacks the fungus at its root. I love that it includes the nail files and applicators. Filing the surface of the nail slightly before applying the liquid is key for better product penetration. It doesn't leave a greasy or sticky feeling for long, which is ideal for putting on socks quickly.

My husband had awful toenail fungus. He went on the prescription pills that can have bad side effects, and they did nothing. But wow, his nails were gross... Something had to be done. So I decided to get this for him. Miracle of miracles, it does work! His nails look about 90% normal now, and that's after years of fungus. He has been using this for several months, though, so BE PATIENT and be consistent! He puts it on every day.

Working well after a couple of weeks of twice daily applications. Nails slowly looking healthier. A little disappointed with the applicator brush, which occasionally falls out of the cap.
