can this bulb be mounted horizontal?

Yes. This bulb can be mounted in any position. Mine are all installed horizontally in outdoor wallpack fixtures or or vertically (base UP) in open porcelain ceiling fixtures.

Can this bulb replace a conventional overhead light bulb in the garage?

Socket size is 39 not 26 for larger sockets

Can you use with 208v?

Yes,it can use with 85V - 265V,so it can use with 208V freely. Thank you!
