First box was completely busted, soap everywhere. Amazon was good about replacing it though. The soap is very good at getting dishes clean. Most dishes get cleaned without any effort. A few that had stuck on food i let sit with some soap and water. Came back and wiped the food right off. It had a very good consistency, not too thick and not too watery. The value is excellent. I got 4 bottles and they came in a case pack. Good size for everyday use or refilling. I use it to refill my sink dispenser. I've been using dawn a long time. I've used other brands and always come back to dawn.

ONE star; 5-stars only for attention. NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! The Original Scent we've used for more than 30 years is GONE!!! The product no longer carries a subtle, unobtrusive scent. The NEW "ORIGINAL" SCENT is sharp, strong, acrid and lingering. ** Product Listing Has Yet to Update 'Original' as: New Clean Scent ** Out of 30,200 product reviews on one retail site, there are 3,660 1-Star reviews primarily unhappy with the new scent; that's more than 12%. Plain Idiotic to change a household staple product in such a way that a large segment of customer base is LOST by the change, with zero customers gained. It begs the question: "WHY?" Why was poor logic employed to change a favorite scent? P&G Customer Care, don't even bother with your response, because it "tested well" ... as obviously the test pool didn't reflect a large number of long standing customers that would find the "new" scent literally unbearable and STOP BUYING the product. Show me one customer gained by the "new" scent and I'll show you TEN who no longer buy it due to the "new" scent. Can't even imaging saving wildlife with this nasty new scent; it would be torture for any wild creatures with scent receptors.

My title pretty much says it all. I've been doing dishes for decades and have tried more brands than I can remember. Dawn Ultra dish soap consistently cuts through grease whether on plates, flatware, glasses, or pots and pans - even my glass baking dishes after a lasagna! It's rich and thick, so it doesn't run immediately off your sponge or dishes and into the dishwater. Also, it smells nice and leaves my hands soft. Ok, and, full disclosure: I really like the color. It's a brilliant blue, standing there on the edge of the sink, and catching the light. Not a *reason I'd choose a dish soap, but since its quality, effectiveness, ease of use, and functionality are all top shelf, I'm chuffed it comes in my favorite color.
