Writing review after review a full year of use. Amazing product when it comes to sound quality. As I have small head it fits perfectly. I feel this to be better than other over the ear headphones. A bit on bulky side. If a reason for purchase is music with good noise cancellation you can go for it. Not good in terms to attend meeting and taking calls until you are too loud to speak. Overall a good product at discounted price. I bought it for 12K in Big Billion day sales.

Look no further. These aren't the headphones for TRUE audiophiles. But if you're a basshead like me? They're nearly perfect. I have been faithful to the Sony MDR-XB950B1(and the older BT model) but Sony no longer makes those, and they have a fatal design flaw that causes the earcup hanger to break over time. I replaced my first MDRs recently with a pair I bought from Ebay. Did some research, and these seemed like the next best option to succeed the MDRs. So, if you're someone who also loves those old MDR-XB950B1 headphones, this review is for you. ULT WEAR has better audio quality than the MDRs. The MDRs have better bass. But barely. The MDRs had always been a bit muddy in sound, due to that extra bass. A worthy exchange for people like me. The ULTs sounding better overall is nice. Unlike the MDRs, the ULTs lose bass power at higher volumes. I find the bass is the most impactful around 65-80% volume. While it's still very present at 80-100%, the high and mids drown it out a little. The bass will still rattle your head a little, but not the same way as the MDRs, where the bass scales more with the volume. Crank those up to 100% and they're going to melt your face with bass. And I love them for it. It that regard, the MDRs are better. The ULTs are no slouch though. The ULTs are lighter, and more comfortable. This is subjective, but for me, I don't like the touch controls. Sure, it makes the ULTs look sleek and minimal, but it's very easy to change songs when you're just trying to turn the volume up or down. Tactile buttons are preferred there, but I'll get used to the touch controls. Or, just use whatever device I have them connected to instead. For the price, these are fantastic. Especially if you grabbed them on that cyber monday sale, like me. $150 for these is a steal. Overall, great headphones. Probably not the best overall, for sound quality. But in their price range? You won't find anything with more bass. Hell, I'd bet that anything currently on the market doesn't match up for bass. For me, those old MDRs are the only headphones I've listened to that are better, as far as bass goes. MDRs are still the kings of bass. The ULT WEAR is a very close second.

The Sony ULT WEAR Noise Canceling Wireless Headphones have completely elevated my listening experience. The sound quality is phenomenal, with deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. Whether I’m listening to music, watching movies, or taking calls, the audio is immersive and detailed. The noise cancellation is top-notch. It blocks out everything from background chatter to city noise, making these headphones perfect for work or travel. I also love the ambient sound mode, which lets me stay aware of my surroundings when needed. Comfort is another highlight. The lightweight design and plush earcups make them comfortable for hours of wear. The earcups are pleather, so my ears do get warm after wearing them for a while. Battery life is impressive, lasting all day on a single charge. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to adjust settings on the go. Overall, these headphones are worth every penny. Sony has truly delivered an outstanding product!

I think they’re nice, but I don’t think there is base heavy as to the Skullcandy headphones. I think there is no brand on this planet that produces bass of the skull, rattling quality than Skullcandy. However, these are so comfortable… Not as comfortable as the Skullcandy headphones, the ANC Crushers, but it’s OK Edit: They broke two years later. That plastic binding really showed its true colors. The battery life is insane and it’s on power with the Skullcandy battery life and if I was to really get into it, I would say that their battery life is the best. The controls are very easy and I love the fact that when you take it off a positive song and when you put it on back, it plays the song. I like the fact that it has multipoint connectivity so it connects to both my iPhone and my MacBook at the exact same time and I have the 2018 MacBook, so that’s actually really great. It’s not as loud as I wanted it to be but other times it’s extremely loud and I can’t pinpoint if it’s just my ears or if it’s really my preference. But sometimes it’s loud sometimes it’s not. I don’t know what that is but it’s not low. That being said, it does have a lot of bass and you definitely do hear the boom from the bass, but like I said it’s not as powerful as Skullcandy, but I think it’s a little bit clearer and A lot less muddled. The microphone is good and sometimes it’s not, but I will have the headphone like maybe arms length from where I am and I’ll be talking and the person can still hear me or when I’m using dictation or speech to text, it’s still picking up what I’m saying, even though I’m nowhere near the headphone. I love the fact that it has built-in protection for sudden increases in the volume. So like when I have my phone in my hand sometime, I’ll click the volume button and I’ll click it all the way up and sometimes I have to prepare myself because I think I’m gonna get my eardrums blown out, but what happens is if you suddenly turn up immediately it probably takes like half a second to fully get LOUD (peak)! and I think that’s great because it protects your eardrums. It’s kind of shaped awkward when it’s on your ears, but I don’t mind it and like I said, I love the touch controls because it’s a lot easier than fidgeting with a whole bunch of buttons. It’s worth the price that I paid even though I didn’t really pay for it. I used gift card, but. The personal sound with the app doesn’t really do much but I guess it’s OK. I like that it has a built-in equalizer, but even that doesn’t really do much. I will say this, the sound quality is a lot clearer from this headphone compared to the Skullcandy ANC crusher. I love it.
