XPR-5568RX Intrant Rechargeable Intrinsically Safe Permissible Dual-Light Angle Light (Red)

I like to clip this flashlight to my flotation vest with the head bent. The light produced by the second LED is perfect to light my path well enough to see where I'm going. The beam is a really tight spot, so it makes seeing into tanks for stripping or gauging a lot easier than some other lights that have more of a flood beam... especially when you have vapor clouds to peer through. I have the charger screwed down to a small plastic cutting board along with the charger for my radio, and I leave them in my car so they are ready to go for every job. The rechargeable batteries will easily last for 3 or more loads / discharges. You can dim the main beam by holding its button, but the secondary light is only one intensity. My only gripes are that there are no tactile indicators for the different buttons, and I don't like that when you double-press the main beam button, it goes into seizure strobe mode.

I really like this light a lot. I’ve caught a few jobs now with it and it’s aces. The beam is really focused so it cuts through well when it’s really banked down. The low light underneath makes it very easy to walk around in a medium smoke condition. The ability to angle the light up is perfect for overhauling. Made finding the seams on the tin ceilings I was pulling last week a breeze. I’ve used the survivor light for a few years and I had the knucklehead had for 7 years and I’m already willing to say this is a better light. It’s half the weight of the knucklehead with similar features and even a little lighter than a survivor. The only negatives are the buttons and the charger. The main light button on the right is very easily turned on by the gauge for the scott pack. I’m thinking about just gluing a small bump out to protect the button. My only other gripe is the charger. I really wanted it to fit the stream light chargers just out of convenience. It worked at home but doesn’t seem to charge on the ones on my rig. Whatever not that big of deal. Bottom line, I’m really happy with it. I work in a truck company with the FDNY if that matters to anyone.

Good quality. it has been dropped a few times and no damage. Price was good.

I like the light so far, the only issue I have is that the buttons are too sensitive... have had it in 3 house fires already so far... each time I've had issues of it being turned on in off when not needed. Not life threatening, butt would like it to be more difficult to accidentally being turned on or off. Thanks

Bought this light for firefighting operations. Right out of the box I took it to a week of live fire training. We use a 2 story building and fill it with bails of hay. Heavy smoke and fire conditions. Penetration of the light beam and it's visibility was excellent. The floor light feature worked great as well. The light took a beating too and hasn't faultered yet. This is going to be a great bunker gear light.

Cette lampe est réellement faite pour des professionnels des secours ou d'industries exigeantes en termes de sécurité. La notion d'Atex peut être d'une importance vitale. Les deux fonctions d'éclairage sont particulièrement appréciable. Pour les travaux en hauteur, j'ai sécurisé la lampe au moyen d'une petite longe d'environ 90 cm terminée aux deux extrémités par une mousqueton. Un mousqueton accroché à la ceinture dans le dos, la longe par dessus l'épaule et l'autre mousqueton raccordé à l'anneau d'accrochage de la lampe. Cela n'empêche pas de fixer la lampe au moyen de la pince à la poche de la veste de travail. La lampe est ainsi soit fixée à la poche de la veste soit en main sans risque de la perdre. Excellent produit.
