Lasted five years in an MFP M29 laser jet printer
Have had the hp laserjet MFP M29w for over six years, and it's been great. Can sit for months without use, and then even on the first page the characters will be sharp and black (unlike with an inkjet, which seems to clog up just sitting around).

Okay, but could almost buy a new printer instead
This is a good product, in the sense that you know it works with the printer. I feel more comfortable buying this one than I would buying a knock-off. However, sadly, this cartridge costs almost as much as the printer itself. I really did wonder if I should just buy another printer altogether, since I could get one for nearly the same thing as just this cartridge alone. The only reason I didn't was because then I'd have to connect a new printer to wifi and so on, which is a hassle. So I bit the bullet and paid for this, even though I hate the cost.

Always order Hp cartridges. Other brands, tho cheaper, can wreck your printer by leaking powder all over.
