It only caught a few flies, but it worked. The moment a fly gets stucked it's stuck.

These things are absolutely the best. I don’t use them inside my home. I hang them right outside my door and they trapped all kinds of bugs and flies and keep them out of my house. They function perfectly. They’re very safe easy to use and nothing escaped these suckers once they’re stuck on.. All my friends are now buying them after seeing how well they work outside my front door.

Work great! I’m so glad I found these on Amazon. I bought a single one from Menards during spring and I put it in my kitchen for the random flying insect that would come in. However as of recently there have been a lot of flies around our neighborhood and some getting into my house and my flytrap got full really fast. Unfortunately this is more of a seasonal item at Menards and with fall rolling in I couldn’t find them. But Amazon had a 2 pack and the price rounds about the same for 2 singles at Menards. When I tell you that this sticky traps works believe me! It does! I think the color attracts the fly into thinking it’s hiding from me lol 😆 I obviously can’t very that that’s what it’s doing but when I’m going after a fly with my electric swagger they go and land directly on the fly trap. This is the one I got from Menards in the video, it’s absolutely disgusting but this thing got full in 2 weeks! It had been in my kitchen since spring and I had only caught 2 flies, but with the swarm of flies recently in the area this thing got full in 2 weeks I put a new one up today when I got them and 2 more landed within the hour of my setting it out. I actually accidentally dropped it twice and not a single fly fell off. Even caught a lightning bug, some fruit flies and a small moth.

So far I like this easy fly-trap. I tried others from Amazon but they were sticky and difficult to hang. The plug-in ones were not very useful as well. I don't have many flies or gnats or mosquitoes but for some reason this summer I have had a few of each in my house. Within minutes of unpacking this fly-trap I knew I had made the right choice. I like that you can hang it or set it on a counter. It is sticky but due to the plastic rings on each end I don't have to touch the sticky part. I did though to see if it is really sticky and trust me it is. I am pretty sure I've found the right trap for my house and the cost is so reasonable. It is sturdy, well made and pretty large! It was shipped quickly as I had ordered it yesterday and it arrived this morning. So far, so good!

These work great but I wouldn't recommend putting them on your deck to hang up because we found a small bird stuck to it. Extremely sticky and they don't have any cover on them so not just bugs will get stuck to it.

Eh. I usually hate glue traps, but the flies this year were unbearable—even in our screened gazebo—so I finally gave in and bought these. At first, they didn’t seem to do anything for a few days. Then, once one fly got stuck, the rest quickly followed. Pretty effective… until things went sideways. Somehow, we must have had a nest of katydids nearby. A few ended up in the gazebo, and one curious katydid got caught in the trap. I was able to free it but not without sacrificing a wing, so that was enough for me. I immediately took the traps down and tossed the other one. I'm giving these 5 stars because they really do work, but they work for all flying insects, not just flies. In our situation, even with a screened area, they trapped insects I didn’t want to harm. So, unfortunately, this isn’t a solution for me.
