I was looking for a bathroom clock that told me the temperature and was easy to read.I bought this as Braun generally makes quality items.Unfortunately, this was not the case with this clock.When you take it out of the box its substantial, and I was happy at first.But the directions were not as clear as they could be, I finally figured out how to program it, a lot of people get stuck on the Year I found online.To change the Day you have to change the year which is the first option when you click on the calendar, but the directions skip over that.Anyways, once you get it all programmed, you can hang it, which was really easy.Of course if you set the alarm, you have to take it off the wall which I did at 12:04 a.m. the first night when it went off in another room.Here is the big problem with this clock, it's too DIM, and you cannot brighten it.I couldn't even read it in the bathroom.There is only one place I could hang it in my house where I could actually read the time.The buttons are hard to get to.the alarm off button is on the back and the snooze is a very thin button on the top.I would not suggest buying this clock at this price, it does not do what it promises.

To begin with don't let me tell you all the things I love of this clock. It's sleek and modern looking. It's got a large forward facing display. It's got all the features anyone could possibly want it's got the internal temperature of a room it's got an alarm function it's got the year it's got the time when walking anyone want it's digital I absolutely love it it's got to stand it works on two double a batteries it's black it's modern looking. And it even fits perfectly in the decor of the room it's perfect on the mantelpiece or on the night table or even just on the kitchen table oh and it's got a snooze alarm on top when you set the alarm. Okay now for the cons the only thing I don't like about this I mean the only thing I don't like about it is I can't see the display it's got this reverse LED lighting and I just have difficulty seeing it during the day and at night it's absolutely impossible to see. This Braun Digital Wall Clock with Indoor Temperature, Date, Day of The Week was ordered to be used in the bathroom to keep track of time when preparing to leave. The set-up was very simple after installing two AA batteries. The indoor temperature display in deg. F or C is an added bonus for use in the bathroom. The digital display is large, but not very bright, with no brightness adjustment. This is a negative feature along with the high price for what you get.
