Is this true?** A: I have the same problem. It won’t turn off even at 0 setting. The red light stays in the entire time. Is this a defect? **Q: Can this be used to make lefse?** A: I wasn’t sure what a lefse was, I googled it and I have to say I really don’t know I have never made anything but crepes on it , which by the way makes great crepes. I’m not sure how a thicker batter would work.
