Compact Powerhouse for Makers – Precision Engraving at Its Best!
As someone who’s spent years tinkering with everything from 3D printers to CNC routers, I can confidently say the Longer Nano 6W Laser Engraver has earned a permanent spot on my workbench. I picked it up as a compact option for custom engraving projects, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. First off, the build quality is excellent. It’s lightweight yet sturdy, and assembly was quick and straightforward—even for someone new to laser engraving. The instructions were clear, and the included tools and parts were all well-organized and thoughtfully packed. The 6W laser is surprisingly powerful for its size. I’ve used it on wood, leather, acrylic, and even anodized aluminum, and the results have been consistently crisp and professional-looking. For fine detail work like etching logos or intricate designs, this thing is a beast. I’ve even managed a few grayscale photo engravings on wood that came out way better than I expected from a diode laser at this price point. Software setup was painless—LaserGRBL worked right out of the box, and it’s also compatible with LightBurn for more advanced control (highly recommended if you’re serious about precision). The adjustable focus is easy to tweak, and once you dial it in, the accuracy is dead-on. What really impressed me, though, is how quiet and compact it is. I’ve got it set up in a small workshop at home, and it runs smoothly without creating a lot of noise or heat. The safety features, like the laser shield and emergency stop button, give me peace of mind, especially when working around curious pets or kids. Overall, this is a phenomenal value for makers, hobbyists, or even small business owners looking to personalize products. Whether you’re engraving custom keychains, cutting small wooden parts, or adding detailed flourishes to handmade gifts, the Longer Nano 6W punches well above its weight. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into laser engraving without breaking the bank!

Very good quality and easy to set
This laser engraver is excellent for both hobby projects and professional use. The 6000mw power and the 0.05mm precision deliver very clean and detailed results and the high speed makes projects much faster to finish. It is compact and easy to set up and portable, which makes it perfect for a home workshop.

Requires big learning curve, not reliable
Well, this had been the exact opposite of a delight. It took me a cumulative 7 hours to get my first image to run. Because this device requires outside software to operate, you're on your own after connecting all the wires. The few software set up instructions you do receive aren't accurate or require additional drivers. After installing all of the drivers and following the instructions as best I could (Not accurate) I was hit with an alarm. Absolutely nowhere are there instructions on how toget past this alarm. It took 7 hours to get it. Now, this whole time I'll be honest, this is my lack of knowledge. If I were more educated on lasers and their software, it'd probably be pretty breezy. But then, just as I was starting to get it figured out, the mechanism for raising and lowering the laser went out.

Nice for beginers. I should have gotten the 12w version
Easy to set up and use. Laser is not strong enough to cut ply wood. Other than that etching quality is very precise

Amazing!
I recently started using this machine to engrave on glass. Once you get the hang of using this machine, it works great.I have carved on 20 glass mugs and vases with no cracks. Using an old cup is a great way to gain experience with the tool and learn how to hold it to get the right cuts, this will improve your carving and you'll find you can make good pieces that make beautiful and inexpensive gifts. I give my carved pieces to my family and friends and they all love them.

It is company but don’t let the small size fool you it is packed with features you can’t even imagine. Fun for the whole family and great for making special gifts for everyone. Durability is not even a question for this it spits fire and keeps on ticking. All around a solid choice for a beginner or even a novice with all of the advanced options it’s a great choice for almost everyone.
