We used the Luna Bean Baby Footprint and Hand Cast together for our baby, and it was such a meaningful experience. The kit was easy to use, and the details came out beautifully. You can see every tiny line in the hand and foot prints. The materials felt solid and high quality, and once it set, it looked like a professional keepsake. It’s made of plaster but durable. It hasn’t cracked or degraded and still looks great on display. More than anything, it’s something we’ll always cherish as a memory from when our baby was so small. If you’re looking for a way to capture those early moments and create something truly special, this kit is absolutely worth it.

The instructions were easy to follow, it turned out really great, and I had everything I needed. My only concerns were it would be nice having an even pointier toothpick (for smaller crevices), and the proportions were a little off so drying time was longer than described.

So easy to use and with amazing results. It also comes with lots of extra material so there was no worries about not having enough. I love having her foot and hand as a keepsake forever.

Update: I reached out to the seller and they sent me a new kit along with tips. I have yet to try the new kit but I’m so glad they made it right so I changed my star rating. I ordered this in August before my baby was born and I just completed this kit yesterday now that my baby is four months old. I wish I would have waited to order until I knew for sure that I would be able to do the kit right away as I’m worried that I can’t receive a refund or get any help now. With that being said, I wanted to write this review to help others so they don’t waste their kit! It is crucial that your baby is calm or asleep when you do this because if your baby moves his or her hand or foot even a little bit while it’s trying to solidify, it just doesn’t work out! It has so much potential to be cute and it makes me sad that mine didn’t work out because my baby is growing and with three kids it takes time/ effort to set aside just to do this kit which is why it took so long for me to complete. The instructions are pretty good, but I wish they would mention how important it is that your baby holds Still… Which is hard to do with a baby, but it just doesn’t turn out if you can’t get your baby to hold Still or to distract your baby in some way if your baby is awake. It also takes a while to solidify so it’s probably better to dip your baby’s foot or hand when it’s light gray because that is why my baby started wiggling as well… It was taking too long to solidify! So dip when it’s gray, but don’t wait too long because then it will solidify. Dipping when it’s light pink though I feel like it’s too soon with a wiggly baby.I will update my review to 5 stars if I get any help and I will be very impressed with this business if they help me. I hope that they update instructions and talk about the importance of baby being still AND waiting a little longer to dip, babies, hand or foot. So sad this didn’t work out for me but I hope this helps others.

I have given this gift many times over the past few decades (probably different venders) and have never been disappointed. I first became aware these kits existed 33 yrs ago when I did a hand and foot on my daughter and they still look great! It's a can't miss, oftentimes one-of-a kind, special shower gift. My daughter was the recipient of this one for the upcoming arrival of her second baby. Can't wait!

I wanted to loveeee this but after two tries and following instructions step by step, I still had an incomplete hand each time. Both times, the fingers broke and I was super gentle. Still a beautiful memory.

Great product! It is a memory that you will have forever. It is a great gift for families and friends. I would definitely recommend watching the video on how to do this. The mixture dries fast, so it’s important you mix with caution. The look and design is great and love that it comes with tools and paint. Great value for the money.

Pretty easy to make! Just need to make sure the baby is in a deep sleep and doesn’t move around.

I've ordered this brand for all 3 of my babies. First baby had the best quality. Unfortunately, baby 2 and 3 it didn't turn out as well. Even with following instructions perfectly and using baby oil to help avoid bubbles or breaks - they still broke. Tried to repair but didn't work. Quality declined over the years.

Pretty much impossible to get a baby to stay still for 4 minutes. A waste of money unfortunately:/

Foot one didnt mould right. But the hand one did. This why I want my money back.....
