Review: Works incredibly well on old stains on off white carpet - I finally had time to use this carpet shampooer, it is amazing! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. My one cat that is 16 yrs old, eats his fur and several days later, it comes back up with food and the hair. I had several spots that were several weeks old and after passing over them about 3 times they came right up. Scent is wonderful. It does foam up a little too much, but that is a small issue compared how well it brings up 2-3 week stains. This review is no BS too, it really works that great. I highly recommend this product and will continue to buy it until I can afford to have my off white Berber carpet replaced.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much better than Bissell detergent

I used this with a handheld carpet cleaner (Bissell little green multiclean) even though it is technically meant for upright machines. It did foam more, but it was not really a huge problem for me to empty the machine a bit more frequently. I was cleaning a rug and during the task ran out of the Bissell detergent that I had. I then switched to this Amazon basics one that I had purchased earlier and oh boy: when I started cleaning with this detergent, the difference was incredible! I ended up having to redo all the areas I had already cleaned with the Bissell detergent because they looked dirty next to the areas cleaned with the Amazon cleaner. The scent is pleasantly fresh and the price is unbeatable. Better performance for much less money.
