I use these for administrating my cats phenobarbital and I rarely— if ever— have issues with him spitting it out. I slide the pill right in, and he loves it! These churu bites are a little smaller than the original— so keep that in mind when purchasing! There is a soft, purée like substance in the center, perfect for sliding in a pill. Each bag has multiple little triangular bags of the “fun bites” inside. One thing I noticed is after opening, if they aren’t refridgerated they will mold in 3 days. These are super digestible, and my cats have never had issues tolerating them (no vomitting, diarrhea, etc). For the money, this pack lasts a long time for me doing pills 2x per day!

Sadly my cats won’t eat them, but they look like they’d be good. If I was a cat I think I would eat them, so I’d give them 3 stars. I have two cats and neither of them will eat them. These treats have a soft center, so you could probably insert a small pill into if you’re trying to disguise it. My cats love Churus so I had high hopes for these.

For having two chunky cats, they are somehow incredibly picky eaters. We’ve tried a lot of treats over the years, and Churu is one of the very few brands I can rely on every single time. The second a bag opens, they come running—and there are never any leftovers. ✅️ What I like: -Total approval from both cats. These get a 100% success rate in my house. The outer layer is chicken with a tuna center, and apparently that combo is irresistible. -Good portion size. There are roughly 20–22 small treats per bag. I typically split one bag between both cats. -Well-packaged for freshness (before opening). Each bag is air-filled so the treats hold their shape and don’t get squished. ⚠️ Things to consider: -Must be refrigerated after opening. If your cat won’t eat cold treats, this can lead to waste. -Not resealable. You’ll need a clip or container if you don’t use the whole bag at once. -They dry out quickly. Once opened, they start to go stale within a few hours. Overall, my cats absolutely love these and I continue to repurchase them regularly. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of resealability and short freshness window after opening. ⭐️ I included a video of my cat inhaling his portion, along with photos showing the packaging, treat size, and what you can expect per bag.
