I recently purchased the Philips Avent Sterilizer, and I must say it has been one of the most useful and practical baby care products I've added to our routine. The design is compact yet spacious, easily fitting multiple bottles, and other small baby accessories. What I love most is how quick and efficient the sterilization process is—just 10 minutes and everything is germ-free, without the use of any chemicals. It’s also extremely easy to use—just add water, load your items, and switch it on. The auto shut-off feature is a big plus for peace of mind. And because it keeps items sterilized for up to 24 hours (as long as the lid is closed), it adds so much convenience to our busy schedule. As a parent, hygiene is a top priority, and this sterilizer gives me the confidence that my baby’s bottles and accessories are truly clean and safe to use.

It's big relief after wash where basically it's simple steamer which sterilises the bottle. The other company gives functionality to use the same steam to boil eggs in same machine. Overall does good job, however there is leakage between two compartments which release steam but that's not big problem. People have complained about switch but I have never turned it off, always On, I only use main power supply to swithch it off and on. Yeah one more thing, the Tongs which they have provided to pick steamed objects is useless. Better use it with sterilized hands or another plastic tongs. I used it 5-6 times daily.

I purchased the Philips Avent Sterilizer, and within just two months of use the heat pad developed bubbles and started releasing rust-like or toxic particles. This is a serious safety concern—especially for a product meant for babies. Despite raising complaints with Philips, the experience has been extremely disappointing. Their customer support repeatedly promised a resolution within 24–48 hours, but no one ever followed up. Complaints were closed without explanation, and after 30–40+ calls and two formal complaints, I still received the same scripted responses. The service center refuses to handle these products, while customer support insists the service center should repair or replace them. There is no coordination between the two, leaving customers stuck in the middle. It’s alarming that Philips can manufacture such a product that risks baby health, and then fail to provide proper support when issues arise. Based on my experience, this sterilizer is unsafe, poor in quality, and a waste of money. I strongly advise parents to avoid buying this product.

This has been a great purchase as per it helped a lot to keep clean the bottles for my baby. I'm sorry that it does not include a couple of bottles. Also, after a couple of months, the tray in the base of the product got apparently rusty, which makes it harder to re-sell. The problem is that the tray is not too easy to clean, but the sterilizing jug is pretty easy to clean and use.

I bought this, and initially loved it, so don’t like to have the experience I’m having now. I’ve followed the instructions and, now, the heating plate is peeling. I don’t dare attempt to clean it again the way the instructions are written (just a simple wipe down after each use from now on). The bubbles/peeling paint gives me pause there could be toxic particulates contaminating the steam (sticking to the items being sanitized). I’ve tried to call Philips, and no answer to my web messages, so I’m stuck with it (unusable); since it is passed the return window. This is not ok & not a good look for Philips (whose still having issues with their CPAP recalls and the sketchy things they used to manufacture those).
