It's not a cotton pillow first of all. Secondly not comfortable at all. Thickness not comfortable. The cover could have been a zipped one. On all counts - material quality, softness, cotton, waste of money

The mateiral inside the pillows doesnot seem to be made of cotton but of fibre. I didnot open but when i rest the head, the pillot compresses more than expected.
