Good product
I bought this OBD two connector to plug-in the ELD that has the nine pin round. It’s working great so far.Installed on a 2014 Volvo Vnl

Works as intended
All good. Does what it is intended for. The ELD device does throw in some errors but it does the same with other adapters as well. So, this cable/adapter is OK

Scanner Cable
I bought the scanner cable adapter for my OBD II tool but did not read the description, like I should have. The adapter will not fit my engine OBD connection. The part looked like a very good quality part, but I read Cummins engine and did not go further, I need the J1939 Male adapter..oh well Amazon was great by taking the cable adapter back without shipping and a full refund.

Very misleading description
This converts a truck with an OBD 2 DLC to a scan tool with a 9 pin cable not the other way around. The description is very confusing and does not specify. Why you would want to convert OBD 2 to 9 pin I’ll never know since 99.9% of all scan tools plug into an OBD 2 connector. To use this you have to have a scan tool that plugs into a 9 pin and a truck with a 16 pin.

Worked on an ELD, but started being glitchy on an other. Buy it on your own risk

The item is a great product, but I bought it to use in Canada. At this particular time it does not work in Canada with the Canadian laws For commercial Trucking
