Is it supposed to smell like chocolate? The chocolate smell is so strong!

This hay is dried in the hot air machine at a hot temperature, so the hay smells a little bit of baking. We never added any additives, this is pure Timothy grass, but its processing method is different, so it smells a bit different from grass dried in the sun. Just like steamed bread and baked bread smell different.

Is this timothy hay the best for guinea pigs of more than one year?

I think so, they are soft, leafy, and with thin stems. Perfect for your guinea pigs eating.
