Westmore Beauty Body Coverage Perfector, Golden Radiance Shade, 7 Oz

I received my order in less time than estimated. That made me very happy. I tried the product the first time using a smaller kabuki body brush and , although I was ultimately very pleased with the result, I do not recommend using a smaller brush to apply the skin perfector. I wore the skin perfector at work the next day to give it the ultimate sweat test ( I work at a country club and my job requires alot of physical exertion). It stayed put all day! There was a very small amount of transfer, but I think it was due to not having buffed it out enough after I applied it. I showered that night and had no difficulty removing the product with body wash and a scrubbie. But it did stay on without any streaking at all with just plain water. I bought a larger kabuki body brush and reapplied the product tonight. It looks even better than the first time! I love the way my skin shimmers and feels so soft and smooth.. A few more details here.... I live in a tropical climate and it held up great, even with the humidity we've been experiencing lately. Natural Radiance is the shade closest to my skin color , but I purchased Golden Radiance because I love having beautifully tanned skin year round. And it looks really natural. I'm in my late 50s, I have scars, blue veins, and freckles all over from a life well lived, and they virtually disappeared once I applied this product. I've received so many compliments and my self confidence has been restored . I even feel a little healthier with a little spark in my step when I wear this product. Well worth every penny!! I purchased the 7oz tube. I'll definitely be purchasing again !!

Love this! Can’t do without! Evens out my skin, gives a little color, gives a bit of glow. My legs are never pale. I look sun blessed without actually damaging my skin in the sun. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because although it reads it doesn’t transfer on to clothes; it does. I do follow all the instructions on waiting before putting clothing on but eventually it does get on clothes. The good thing, it does wash off with a pre wash of baking soda, liquid detergent , warm water and a little hydrogen peroxide. It’s my go to stain remedy for everything! I love this product but it’s difficult to find the color Golden Radiance, which is my favorite! It is on the pricier side but a little goes a long way. One of these lasted almost two years for me. I use a glove to put it on and a long back material to reach my back. I have recommended to others and they’ve become users.

I used a tanning bed when I was in my 30's. I'm now 62 and paying the price for the tan I had back then by having to have skin cancers removed pretty regularly. Lesson learned too late. I have used sunless tanners over many years and found some decent ones and got pretty good at applying them, but didn't like the smell, the occasional mistake in application, and the difficulty in removing them before applying more. Plus, sunless tanners accentuate age spots. SO, Westmore Beauty Body Coverage Perfector has become a wonderful answer for me! I am fair-skinned, but want to have a tan in the summer. I use Golden Radiance. It looks a little orange on me when I first start applying (because my skin has pink undertones) but once I get it on all over, it looks amazing! I've been asked my many people where I have been to get my pretty, glowing tan. It really does look beautiful. The color lasts for several days and when I'm ready to remove it I can take it off easily in the shower with a washcloth or wash mitts. Now, there are techniques that are important to know. To reduce transfer, you must prep your skin. No oils, no moisture strip on your razor, no lotion (unless you find an oil-free one that works for you). When I know I'm going to be applying it, I use the basic Ivory soap in the shower, let my skin dry, apply the product, let dry for at least 10 minutes, and then buff off the excess. Even at that I do get minimal transfer inside my clothes and sometimes on my sheets, but it washes out easily in the washing machine. I use an oil-free sunscreen mist when I need sunscreen. I wish I could say I've learned how to get zero transfer, but that is not the case. But to note, I usually don't have transfer on day 2. If my skin starts looking dry, I lightly mist it with that same sunscreen as well. Another note: I've applied several different ways: hands, tanning mitt, and the Westmore Beauty Blur & Blend Brush. I think I'm leaning toward liking the application with my hands the best and then buffing off the excess with a mitt used for sunless tanners. I do like the brush for applying to my neck.

I’m on the fence… I suffer from very thin skin and bruise like a banana. I’m always embarrassed and would like something natural to cover it up. I think the color was a little off for me, but the thing I liked about it is it was multi dimensional in color. And had a little sheen to it. If you use too much, you will look like a robot or a tin man, but if you use a little and perhaps put something underneath to cover the bruises as well, it should not be noticeable. I use it, but I would love to use something even better.
