Parnell - Cicamanu Serum Cushion - Moisturising Foundation for Soft, Opaque Skin - Light and Crystal-like

This serum cushion is awesome. It feels very light and applies beautifully on the skin. It evens out the skin tone and looks almost invisible once applied. Of course, if you have problem skin, I am not sure it can fully cover everything, but if you just want a more even skin tone, it works great. My skin tone is slightly darker with a grayish undertone, and I ordered shade 24 Natural Nude. It looks perfect on my skin.

I know this is a budget cushion, and I bought it after I saw an Instagram ad of it. It boasts that your makeup won’t streak even after hours. However in my case as a combo skin it still did not hold up after 5 hours, and it’s a bit dryer. So note that you’ll have to use an essence or mist under it in order to achieve the dewy skin effect. I now just use it as my portable cushion instead of my main since it’s better as a ré-makeup cushion solution when your face already has a bit natural oil, and just need a touch up.

I found out about this product from a friend who raved about it, so I decided to give it a try. Let me share a bit about my skin type: I have dehydrated oily skin, which means I struggle with moisture and oil imbalance. I also deal with acne and sensitive skin. Whenever I used a cushion foundation before, my skin felt dry, and by the end of the day, I had a lot of sebum and flaky patches. However, this cushion foundation is different! While it hasn’t completely solved all my issues, it has definitely made a noticeable difference. I’m in love with it! I didn’t change my skincare routine at all—just added this cushion foundation—and I’m no longer dealing with flaky skin! And the coverage? It’s fantastic! You can see from the photos I uploaded how well it covers acne scars without needing any concealer. Honestly, this is hands down the best product I’ve tried so far. I highly recommend it!
