Delphi Complete Works of Jonathan Swift (Illustrated)

Although I have only made a dent in the many Delphi for Kindle works I've purchased they are just wonderful to have. I truly appreciate all the work and editing that goes into each author's edition. The photos, letters, biographies and criticism that goes into each are much appreciated. I can't recommend Delphi enough. Readers only need to purchase one work to find the value for themselves. Thank you to all the people at Delphi for a job well done.

It's the complete works of one of the greatest writers and thinkers the English language has been blessed with (all but the correspondences in 6 volumes as far as I can see); it takes a little tracking to find everything, but dipping here and there and everywhere is its own kind of pleasure.

Wouldn't be without it. The satire is as punchy today as it must have been then.

Even if this collection only contained Gulliver's Travels, it would be a good value, but Delphi gives you so much more. I believe it covers over 4,500 pages. There is poetry, personal correspondence, a couple of biographies, novels, many with generous illustrations. Another great value from Delphi.

A varied collection by one of England's most influential writers (though he was Irish, of course)
