Perfect size. High quality. Great color. Hefty construction.

If I'd seen them in a store, I might've thought them to be too small. However, based on a website review/recommendation, I took the chance. They are perfect. Great proportions and good heft. They stack well. Useful for more than pasta. They concentric grooves on the edges even resemble our Fiestaware plates.

Finally - a dish especially suited to pasta that retains heat from start to finish when dining. (Dish pre-heated in oven at 150-200F is ideal). Visual appearance of dish is excellent, especially when under-plating with a white dish (such as Corian). Price for four dishes is appreciable, but the plates accomplish the underlying intent - retaining heat. No other dish, insulating matt, tile piece, or combination of, tried previously could accomplish the retain-heat objective without becoming far too complicated and clumsy. Value, as value always is, it is a two-edge sword. Often, but not always, "you get what you pay for!" These are worth it. They should last forever. Physical weight might be considered a negative aspect. Stacked in a kitchen cabinet the weight is substantial and requires a firm grip to remove one plate at a time... ill-advised for someone with weak hands or arthritic fingers. Cerise color as ordered elegantly presents the pasta within.

The bowls are well made and beautiful. Love the color. I am glad I got it before it was discontinued.

After decades with some older dishes, I decided to indulge in a new set. I bought these, in addition to the regular Le Creuset bowls, dinner plates and salad plates too. But these? They're the stars! Big and thick, and perfect for pasta, vegetables, chili, stew, you name it! Beautiful red color, Cerise as they call it, which is French for cherry. They are gorgeous. Now - about the seller - Big Kitchens is the best! You see, one of the four bowls arrived broken. The seller replaced it instantly, with excellent communication. Wow. I was so impressed, I'm buying another set. Great seller, great product, great experience. Thank you!

Beautiful bowls, great size. They’re not too big, a lot of pasta bowls are more like serving bowls. I would buy again.

Beautiful bowls. A good weight to them. They can function as a plate or a shallow dish. The size is good especially if you are trying portion control. The color is also beautiful deep dark red with a hit of ombré. Worth the money.
