Is the photo shown the item you're purchasing?** A: There are exposed screws on top but the are flush with the mount surface. **Q: How many rail spaces does the mount take up?** A: Without looking I remember it’s 4-5 slots on the picatinny rail. **Q: how are the bottom of the rings attached to the rest of the mount?** A: Cap screws, I think they are torx heads.
