Blue Bottle’s Whole Bean Organic Espresso is easily one of the best dark roasts I’ve ever tried. The beans are fresh, aromatic, and brew a smooth, rich shot with no bitterness. I use it with our Breville espresso machine, and it never disappoints. The crema is perfect, and the flavor is consistently bold and balanced. Highly recommend for anyone who takes their espresso seriously.

I’m REALLY PICKY with my coffee. This stuff is AMAZING…..PERFECT balanced smooth chocolatey notes and gorgeous flavor. Wakes me up!! I will say you MUST get the grind size right (took me literally half a bag of wasted coffee to get my grind size right but when I did omg it’s so delicious! If you don’t get the grind size right it will taste burnt and bitter or it It’ll taste too watery but that with ALL COFFEE, so just ignore those reviewers saying that it is either of those things cause it’s not. They’re just not getting the grind size right!! if you don’t know how to do that watch a YouTube video. It’s worth the invested time. I used to drink super expensive coffee (ritual, stump town etc) but this stuff honest to god, is better.

I was deeply disappointed by my recent purchase of this Blue bottle coffee. As a longtime admirer of their specialty coffee, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, this bag fell far short of the mark. The beans, once renowned for their nuanced flavors and complex profiles, now taste remarkably similar to the generic supermarket blends I’ve tried in the past. There's a noticeable lack of acidity, brightness, and overall character. The aroma is muted, and the aftertaste is flat. It's disheartening to see such a beloved roaster deliver a product that is so lackluster. I would not recommend this to you if you are expecting specialty 3rd wave coffee quality.

This Blue Bottle dark roast espresso is outstanding! The beans are fresh and aromatic right out of the bag. Once ground and brewed, they deliver a deep, rich flavor with smooth chocolatey notes and zero bitterness. It makes an excellent shot of espresso and also holds up beautifully in lattes or cappuccinos. I also appreciate that it's organic and ethically sourced — it makes the coffee experience feel even better. If you love strong, smooth espresso, this is absolutely worth the price.
