Excellent distribution! Used for my custom project and it came out exactly how I wanted it. Installed inside aluminum channel and sealed it with silicone.

The media could not be loaded. 4 zones. 24V power. Control-4zone wall display. Upper cab-90°channel. Under cab-routered in channel. Sink LT-routered channel. Toe kick-tape on.

The 5M 12V strip shows a very large brightness drop across the length of the strip. This is true for all colors and brightness. So much so that it is unusable. Years ago I would have fixed with power injection, but this strip does not seem configured to accept power injection. e-mailed support they replied with a demand to see my invoice the purchase, so now they know my sock size as I purchased them at the same time. But they have not offered help as of yet. Will be returning unless I get a positive outcome from support.

The product is as described, no complaints. Customer service was amazing. They recognized an item I purchased for my project that would not work correctly with what I was trying to accomplish and offered an alternative to solved my projects concerns. Kudos to BTF for their attention to detail on my purchase and advice to have my project work correctly.

The adhesive sucks. With the heat generated (which is minimal) the backing will fail. But the appearance is good.

As you can see, the lights on the right are fluorescent bulbs and on the left is the strip. The color hue is about the same (adjusted), but the strip is just minutely, less bright. The color options for the RBGCCT is nice. I wish you didn’t have to have a voltage down regulator, (longer device on the right of 1st photo). But I understand the need for an LED Driver (smaller device). I wish they could be combined into a smaller package. I’m sure this may happen in time, as these become more popular.I’m not an electrician, but I am comfortable installing 120v powered things in my home. The install was easy, just time consuming. I’ll be adding more lights to the upper cabinets soon.I used black LED gutters with the install.

The tldr: there were always dead led sections and each time it was different colors. I bought these for extra light on my 3d printer. I needed 3 sections about 1 foot each. At first I soldered the wires but there were dead sections. One strip might be missing red while another was missing the cool white. At first I thought maybe I messed up when soldering. So I took it all apart, turned down the heat on my iron and wouldn't you know it now the green is messed up on one of the strips. After that I ordered their kit to connect them together without solder. This went well and I liked the kit. Got all done and surprise surprise one of the strips is missing the cool white. I went through the entire roll and still is messed up. At this point I am going to live with it because I have done this project 3 times now and can't bring myself to do it again. Maybe stick with regular led strips and not fcob ones.

Really good quality LED strip. The colors and whites are fantastic. I just wish it were a little brighter.
