You know how you buy some things and the product doesn't look like the pic when you bought it? Not so with this purchase. Pic matched the product perfectly! I was a bit worried that it might be too small for her, size the size I usually buy for her is 7-8 year old and this was 6-8 but it fit well. Not too loose or two tight. My daughter loves it. She has not worn it in the water yet nor have i washed it yet.

I bought this swimsuit for my granddaughter for vacation. She is 10yo and difficult to fit as she has small hips, waist, etc. She has the torso and leg length for size 10/12 but her dimensions are more in the size 8 realm. I got this in a size 8 for her and it fit well but I doubt she'll be able to wear it for long. It was a teeny bit tight in the rear end, however the torso fit her well and we liked the lining. It held up well both in the swimming pool, ocean swim, kids play area (we were on a cruise) without riding up and washed well, no fading. Great purchase. I would recommend measuring child and going with the size chart, it's correct.

This is such a great suit! It was purrfect for our kitty loving daughter. I like modest swim suits for my kiddos and this fits the bill. The razor back style allows for splash and fun with no worries of the straps falling down while the suit is wet. I also liked the way the suit falls on her hips, as it didn't have the embarrassing gap that can happen in little girl suits. My kiddo wasn't showing her business to the masses when sitting crossed legged on the edge of the pool. She is a small 7 year old that is about 41" and 42 lbs. The 6 fits purrfectly but may not fit next summer.

Bought this a year ago for my daughter, she was 8 so I ordered a size up 10-12 due to the reviews and yes go up a size and it still fits her only thing that the stars started fading away but after a year it lasted so im not really disappointed because my daughter loves it.

It fit nicely and the color is easy to see while in the water. I ordered a size up and the regular size because my daughter is in the tween stage where she doesn't quite fit kids or adults. The bigger size fit better.

We Love this suit. She is small and slender. This suit covers her modestly. Well made. Comfortable straps. Pattern is true. She likes wearing it.

The fabric is durable, sewing is excellent, and the braided detail on the strap is a lovely touch. The pattern of the suit is very cool, and she loves it!
