Is it possible to buy a refill for the spray bottle? I do not want to throw the pump in the trash for each bottle I order. Great product

I'm not sure if you can for this product but there are many concentrated permethrin solutions around that you can buy and dilute to make your own refills. I bought the Martin brand one that's 10% concentrated so you just dilute it at a 20:1 ratio to bring it down to the .5% of this product and away you go.

Approximately how many articles of clothing does the 12 ounce bottle treat?

The company defines an outfit per 3 oz. as adult sized 1 pair long pants, 1 long sleeved shirt, 1 pair of socks, and 1 pair of shoes. 12 oz does 4 outfits of their definition. Be sure to include shoe bottoms. Underwear are not done except socks. They have videos on this on youtube and at REI.

would it be a good idea to spray some of this in a reptile cage to kill mites? I wouldn't want to harm my snake, but the mites need to go.

I suggest that you try clove oil & cottonseed oil, both toxic to insects. I used a 25 % clove oil / 75 % cottonseed oil mix & painted it on my dog's mange spots with a good outcome (no visible mange; demodex mites cause mange) -- I also gave my dog Ivermectin by mouth in hotdogs. Pure Clove oil might be more potent, but it also could irritate skin.

Before I purchased said can spray on pets. Bottle says can’t spray on pets. Which is it?

NOT FOR PETS, looking at one of my bottles now and it specifically says "Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals: Avoid contact with face, eyes, or skin. Avoid breathing vapors or spray mist. Harmful if swallowed. .....hope this helps. I use this to control dust mites personally in my home/environment and it is excellent. I spray it on my clothing and also on some of my furniture (fabric recliner) because my allergies are so severe. This works very well for me and has saved me tremendous aggravation and itching!

Shipping was stupid money, feels like I got ripped off quite nicely. Didn’t realize until the product arrived. Totally my mistake, but almost US$40,00 Shipping for a plastic bottle is crap.

Very good product but not used it yet. Good for soaking your children's night clothes. It can withstand 6 hand washes. Soak your children's night clothes and dry them. This will keep them safe in the night, especially during power outages in areas with heavy mosquitoes. You can spray on mosquito nets, hiking gear and evening clothes too. I highly recommend this product.

Sprayed this on my travel pants and my sons prior to going into the Amazon River area in Peru. Only used DEET on my ankles and hands. 0 bites in 3 days in the jungle and the river. Did a night hike and mosquitoes were thick. Works great. If you are going into a challenging area like that, recommend 2 coats.
