Il faut juste en mettre un peu plus dans vos aliments, boissons, yaourts, etc... car il n'est pas tout à fait égal au vrai sucre. En pâtisserie, j'ai aussi remarqué que les gâteaux ne gonflent pas la même chose mais franchement on est bien content-e de pouvoir rester gourmand-e sans les dégâts des autres produits naturels sucrants.

**Q: Does Swerve Granular caramelize like regular sugar?**
A: Yes, it does. In fact, it's the only sugar replacement of its kind that browns and caramelizes just like sugar.

**Q: Does this product produce a laxative effect???**
A: Not for me or my family (4 household members range in age from 84 to 50).  No digestive issues at all after using Swerve granular for about 4 months now.  I'm really impressed with this product.  No bitterness, no strange tastes, no menthol sensation (as with Erythritol), works well in all recipes I've used it in (puddings, smoothies, breads, sauces, and more).  We don't each processed carbs like cereals, so can't speak to using it as a sprinkle-over topping.

**Q: similar to just erythritol?**
A: Swerve is a blend of three ingredients. Erythritol is the first and most prominent ingredient, and is naturally made by fermenting glucose. Prebiotic fibers called oligosaccharides are then added to our blend, along with some natural flavor from citrus to provide just the right amount of sweetness.

**Q: what is it made from ?**
A: As per the manufacturer, Swerve says, "Erythritol is the main ingredient in Swerve and it’s a sugar alcohol derived from corn . While it looks and tastes similar to sugar, it has almost none of the calories.. Oligosaccharides are a type of prebiotic fiber which naturally occurs in various plants; Swerve sweetener contains an extract of these, and natural flavors."

By far the best tasting zero calorie sweetener I’ve ever used. Tastes as close to real sugar as I believe is possible without actually being sugar. All varieties (granulated, icing, brown) are equally good quality and good flavour.
