Works amazingly can see it lasting a lot longer than previous caulk guns I've had in the past the only reason I gave in 4 stars and not 5 is there is one type of sealant I use at work that comes in a metal tube the blade didn't want to cut through it I could've probably forced it but didn't want to take the chance of breaking my new tool or wear out the blade prematurely only other down fall is when using short tubes or if you cut the extra off of a long one it's not that easy to remove and replace I had to put the tip of a tube in a vise to remove it but with all that said would still recommend buying this

Only used it once so far BUT oh my it’s great!! Super easy to run a great bead of caulk, especially in tight spots!!

Concept is great, but broke while on the second tube of caulk. It's made of cheap pot metal. Also, it's hard to get the used tube out. Returning to manufacturer.

The caulk gun is a really good idea and does all the things it claims to do. One shortcoming I have found is that it does not work with cardboard-aluminum lined tubes though. When you try to load anything other than a plastic tube the end of the tube will get smashed and not load properly making the gun inoperable. If there was a way to open the clamping mechanism a bit larger than what it currently can then it would work. Otherwise, this is good concept, but not sure its worth the $30+.

Ya era hora que alguien pensase en una pistola que no se deforme al apretar con fuerza, o no se salga la silicona aunque dejes de apretar el gatillo. Está muy bien diseñada y al soltar el gatillo, o lo que es lo mismo, dejar de inyectar, el sistema deja de hacer presión y no se derrama nada. Una maravilla.

I just received this new gun for caulking and so far it's pretty good. Now, I'm coming using cheap and cheerful silicone/ caulking tube guns, to try this. The good is the quality is excellent. Really well constructed and robust feel. As the tube empties, the gun slices the back of the tube, which is good and bad. Good because it's easier to cut it off, but bad because the slicing blade stops you from twisting the gun inside the gun. This matters when you want to adjust the angle of the nozzle, but can't.....like you could with a cheap gun. Also, releasing pressure on the tube is not that easy and you will always have caulk dripping out the end. Maybe I just need to get more used to it.
