Had a few startup problems fan squealing. Settled down within an hour, probably because this is original manufacture and had been sitting on a shelf, needed time for oil to re-lubricate spindle. Lasting with no issues.

Nice power supply for my computer. Quit operation, good value.

Easy to remove old part and install new. I removed the part from the frame, and took out each connector, installed the replacement, reinstalled the new part on the frame. Started up, No problems. Maybe 30 minutes of time to remove and reinstall. No tools, just slipping it in and out of place.

I ordered this to replace the PSU in my HP 8100 desktop. The only thing I've done before that necessitated me opening any computer case was installing additional memory in a couple of computers some years ago. I decided to try this after watching a couple Youtube videos, as it looked pretty simple....and it actually was. It took me about15 minutes start to finish. The fit was exact and it worked fine after the installation. I was concerned about doing it, but need not have been. It's only been a few days, so I can't speak to longevity.

It doesn't fit flush and I am no longer able to close the tower......The computer works....that is all I wanted..

Worked as advertised perfect fit great for the price.keep in mind this is not an HP approved part but was a perfect fit HP is much more expensive and the HP is probably made in China too.

Received 8/6/20 and installed shortly thereafter. Worked great up until this weekend (3 mo.). I use the computer this was installed in maybe once a week and would estimate that the power supply has been used maybe 10 hours total. Now I press the power button and it comes on momentarily and immediately shuts off. Cannot get it started again and right back where I was 3 months ago. Was hopeful it would last a little longer!

Great price, and I easily installed myself. Truly is plug and play...even for a novice. However... same as some other reviewers said, my unit was very loud on start up but then seemed to quiet down. That silence was only temporary and intermittent as several times a day it would get loud enough to hear from the next room and I would have to turn PC off and let it cool down and then restart. Amazon gave great customer service though, sending me a new unit no charge and letting me send defective one back AFTER I received, installed, and tested replacement unit. Had new unit for 4 days and so far it is completely silent...as it should be. Gave 3 stars instead of 1 because Amazon made it right!
