I use these wet and it absorbs less product than other sponges. Since they're so thin, they dry faster on my table which makes it great for traveling. I no longer need to have a damp sponge sitting in my makeup bag when I'm traveling far destinations. There are other reviews about the case arriving broken however my package came perfectly in tact.
