I started using Black Jack Supreme Cream almost 2 years ago because I had a skin sensitivity problem, and the description sounded like it might be helpful for that - and, indeed, it really did help. I was glad to have found it. This was my 3rd order, but there's a problem: The 2.6 oz. tube is no longer available, so I now have this hideously large 6 oz. tube. It takes up too much room on my vanity, and takes up a ridiculous amount of space in a toiletry bag for travel - see photo of both tube sizes next to my typical size toiletry travel bag. I also am not crazy about using a single container of product like this for a couple of years - I would be concerned for it going bad. Would rather go smaller and replace it about once a year like I've been doing and pay a slightly higher per-ounce price. Liquid and cream products don't have an infinite shelf life. Its large tube size may not be an issue for most customers, so I'm only subtracting one star. But it is an issue for me, so I'm going to return it tomorrow and search for another brand.

I am a woman with sensitive skin. Many shaving products cause razor burn or other irritation on my skin. This product does not. (However, I will say that the beard lube from this same brand did cause irritation on my skin.) The scent is extremely light and fresh, which I appreciate. This cream is rich and lubricating, providing a protective layer that protects my skin from my razor. It is not so thick that it clogs or dulls my razor or makes it difficult to rinse off after shaving. Also, a little goes a long way with this product. I can shave my entire leg with about a nickel sized dollop of this stuff. One tube lasts about 4 months for me with nearly everyday use. And I use it everywhere— arms, underarms, legs, bikini area. Previously, I used unscented Coochi, which I liked okay because it gave me a really smooth shave but I ended up using a lot of product every shave, so it did not last. Also, I wanted a thicker, more lubricating cream for my sensitive skin. I love it so much that it has become a staple in my bathroom, and I will not buy anything else.

This product also comes in a 9.5 oz. jar and a 6oz. tube. I've used both for many years, and like the product. What I'm reviewing, however, is the product inside the 2.6oz tube (which I purchased for travel). It looks exactly the same, smells the same, and was packaged the same, including the small foil seal you see when you remove the cap. Oddly, however, the product in this tube has small grains in it making it feel like a facial exfoliant. In all the years I've used this cream, I've never experienced this. It still works OK as a shaving lube, but I'm wondering why suddenly the grainy feel. Hence, the 3 stars only. FOLLOWING IS MY EDITED REVIEW: At the same time I ordered the 2.6oz tube (reviewed above) I also ordered the larger 6 oz tube since it's more economical for use at home. Two days ago, I finally started using that larger tube and discovered the product to be totally inferior to the Jack Black Supreme Creme Shaving Lather I've used in the past. The stuff in this tube is watery and grainy and not at all suitable for a decent shave. Now, to be clear, I don't think this is necessarily the fault of the manufacturer. I suspect that the seller (or Amazon?) was faulty in either how it was stored (maybe frozen?) or how long it was stored. Unfortunately it is now well past the date for return, so I will end up discarding the 6oz tube. As I said in my first review, the 2.6oz tube works decently enough to continue using. I intend to purchase this product again, but will do so only directly from the manufacturer. I have to downgrade my review from 3 to 1 star, but the review is not for the product, but for the seller.
