My girls LOVED this for their advent calendar, I got this for my oldest and my younger was so jealous. Should have got it for both of them.

I wasn't expecting miracles from this affordable makeup advent calendar, and overall it did a decent job of meeting my expectations. The set includes a variety of fun items for tweens, teens or young adults to enjoy. Some items (the glitter gel and the tacky hair bow) were lost on me, while other items like the gloss, purple eye liner and eye shadow and highlighter palettes were a huge hit. The bronzer stick was very patchy on my skin, and the mascara was dry upon opening. The brow pencil was a good shade, but too oily and smudgy. Overall it's a mixed bag, but for the price it is a good set.
