How do I get the hex nut Into the talegate they are bigger than the holes in mine and I don’t wanna have to pound them in it?

I did not use the hex nuts. I used double side tape all around. I believe you have to take apart the tailgate in order to install the hex nuts from behind.

Why didn’t mine come with bolts?????????

Definitely cleaned up. My truck came with all the extra parts. I had to end up putting screws every 5 inches on the backside going all the way through because the sticky tape would not stick properly and stay stuck other than that. It’s an awesome product. It get the crapkicked out of it.

Mounted right up like it was supposed to as if it was designed by and built by GM. I sanded cleaned and degreased it and put raptor liner on it in body color before I’m mounted it. It looks pretty sharp.
