This liquid version of folic acid isn't body-ready just because it's liquid! This body-ready version of folic acid is methylated, or metabolized, so that the body doesn't have to break it down to use it! So, while most people can take folic acid, the B6 vitamin found in multivitamins, some people have to take this metabolized version, which is called methylfolate! This product doesn't cure the body of anything, because it's just a vitamin our body uses for different purposes. The people that use this body-ready version of folic acid have a mutated gene that keeps them from breaking down folic acid into the folate that the body uses for different purposes. Speak to your doctor for more information or to find out if you think you may have this mutated gene (MTHFR). I use this body-ready folic acid in the capsule or tablet form or sometimes in a multivitamin. I haven't ever used the liquid form before, so I was curious to try it out. It comes in a very well sealed spray bottle, so it would be good to take on vacation, because it won't leak and you don't need water to take this liquid form like you would need to with the capsule or tablet form. This product works just as described. Spray one squirt daily into the mouth and swallow. It doesn't have much of a taste, just like a mild sweet tea or something. Because I take methylfolate normally, there aren't any noticeable reactions when I take this product. After trying this liquid methylfolate, I stopped using it and put it away for traveling, or to use as a back-up product should I run out of my normal capsule form. I would highly recommend doing your research on the MTHFR mutation and speaking to your healthcare provider if you feel you may have this mutation, so you can be tested to see if you do have the mutation. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to use a body-ready version of folic acid, for whatever reason, be it you carry a mutation of the MTHFR gene or you just want to try it out! This liquid is simple to use and easy to transport, making it a great item to have on hand for vacations or every day use!

I wasn't previously familiar with this brand, but this seems to be a good quality methyl folate spray. I really like that the ingredients are just methyl folate, purified water, and glycerin. A lot of tablets/capsules and even liquid forms of vitamins have additives and fillers that I'd rather not be ingesting regularly. I appreciate that it's not flavored as I don't enjoy the taste of artificial flavoring. The taste is subtle, it's slightly sweet from the glycerin so it's pretty palatable. At 400 mcg per spray, and a supposed servings per bottle, it's a good value compared to other methyl folate vitamins I've bought in the past. I don't have any complaints about this product and am going to explore the brand more to see if they have other vitamins/supplements I might want to switch to because I really like their ingredient transparancy and lack of fillers.

This methyl folate suppliment is easy to use, just shake and spray one spray in your mouth and your done! The taste is slightly sweet and very tolerable. There are 175 servings per bottle so it will last for several months. I have the MTHFR gene mutation and was adviced by my drs to take methyl folate as opposed to regular Folic acid because it is more bio available for my body so that's why I wanted to try this. The spray makes is so fast and easy to take and I much prefer the spray over pills. I'm also glad to see it is made with simple organic ingredients with no food dyes listed in the ingredients.
