OK food for a ridiculous price.

I have a teacup Maltese, she was a runt and also nearly dies as a puppy, due to all this trauma for some reason she does not eat very well. She is very finicky (I have tried everything, even fresh steak), she turns her nose up to almost everything. I wanted to find a nutritionally dense food that if she onyl ate a little she would be getting a ton of nutrition. This fits the bill. She does eat this and does like it, it does come in larger chunks so I have to break it into smaller peices. There is a loot of "power" at the bottom of th bag but just add a bit of broth or water and you can still feed it to your dog and not waste any. Overall it smell nice and she seems to like it, I am on my third bagf with her, her coat is shiny and she is maintaining her weight. I like that it is soft and chewy and you can see how high quality the food is.

I researched and just bought the 3.5 lb bag of Yumwoof, after looking at the calculator on yumwoof.com and seeing that a dog between 10-20 lbs should be fed 1 – 1 ½ cups/day, and that one bag would last a month. That couldn’t be farther from the truth… …My dog is 12 lbs, so let’s say I feed him 1 cup per day. The bag (3.5 lbs) will then last 13 DAYS, not even close to a month. I used a measuring cup to carefully scoop out in 1 cup increments, and it equaled roughly 13 cups, and that’s giving you Yumwoof the benefit. As well, if all of the big airs spaces between the large pieces were gone, it would be even less than 13 cups. SO disappointed that they misrepresented how long a bag of food would last. There’s no accounting for varying dogs here, it’s just simple math. My dog LOVES the food, and now that I know it will cost me more than twice as much as advertises to feed him for one month, I am super disappointed that he won’t be able to have it anymore. I could easily feed him a raw food diet for the amount this food costs.

My dogs Zero and Cashew love Yumwoof! They are usually pretty sensitive to new foods but they absolutely love this stuff. It’s almost like a moist brownie consistency, which is surprising for dog food. Definitely buying more.
