The build quality is superb, the sheath locks up securely with the knife and the sheath is perfectly adequate and seems durable. The knife and sheath have a very slender design and very easy to carry on a belt, affix to a pack or stow in a pack. I like the way the handle feels in my hand. The only problem with the handle is that it may be difficult to maintain a good grip if it gets muddy or wet. The knife is solid and weighs less than half a pound so it is a great pack knife for capability and weight savings. Again, I really like this knife and I think it will make a great addition to my camping gear. I was so impressed with the first knife that I bought and recently received the second one. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of these knives. I recently touched up the edges on both and I was pleased with how well they sharpened. I would recommend a light coating of oil on the blade to prevent the exposed edge from developing rust, similar to K-bars.
