This is my first ever purchase of a barbell so I don't have anything to compare it with but it feels like it's a good one. The price is right for me. The weight is 35 pounds rather than the usual 45 pounds. In a way this was good for me cause this is my first time and wanted to make sure I will be able to use it well enough.I don't expect to be doing weights that are too heavy. It's probably like in the 300 lbs range if I ever go that far.I would definitely recommend this for newbies.

I’ve never used barbells consistently at gyms because they were always taken up by other people. I used to feel intimidated by them, but this barbell is amazing for beginners as well as people who’ve already been into powerlifting! I’ve had it for almost a full month now & have been working out with a friend who’s a professional trainer, super comfortable for both of us to use individually with our own amount of weights on it! Very sturdy, strong (max we’ve personally used on it is 250lbs so far), and extremely easy to get a hang of! If you’re new to lifting and aren’t sure where to start, i highly recommend this barbell!

So, I've had this bar for maybe three weeks now, and it's great. Seems like it would be kinda hard to mess-up an olympic barbell, but other products had less positive reviews when compared to this one and there's a good reason. This bar is perfect. It's a great value for the money, same quality you would see in a gym and use every day. I've been benching only like 150lbs, doing many sets, and this bar is sturdy, solid, and safe.It got here faster than expected (by a few days) and was double packaged and wrapped extremely well. The packaging wasn't pretty, but it did the job.I would definitely recommend this to other users!

We just purchased a full squat rack and was looking for a solid Olympic bar for dead lifts, squats, bench press, etc. Went back and forth on a few and really chose this one based on the reviews.I have nothing negative to say about this Olympic bar. The grips are well designed and serve their purpose. There are no imperfections on the bar, no sharp metal shards and no design errors. This is the same bar you would expect to use in a Gold's Gym.The weight of the bar is 45 lbs. The Olympic bar quick release clamps work perfect with this product. Good purchase.
