**Q: Does this come with the silicone outer ring?**
A: I believe so.  Mine has a little silicone rim.  I hope that is what you mean.

**Q: Does this work with the Bodum 51 oz cold brew maker?**
A: It works with my 51-oz press pot.  I'm not sure what a "cold brew maker" looks like.

**Q: Will this filter work on my Bodum Columbia 51oz press I purchased in 2004?**
A: It should.  All I know for sure is that it works on my very old 51-oz press pot.

**Q: What is the diameter?**

Some complete idi@t uninvited ex houseguest unbeknownst to me cut my original press rubber strainer edge shorter because “the suction was too strong” causing it to loose that tight suction & get grit in the coffee. This replacement fits perfectly on my older model! Only difference is the attachment part is plastic not metal. Definitely worth buying this vs an entire newer model press.
