I'm learning watching videos and asking chat gpt. I can't seem to get a 1:2 shot in this machine. Still makes good coffee but the amount of liquid to ground coffee seems off. Porta filter only fits 14 grams of coffee so I should get 28 grams of liquid but I always get much more. I tried stopping it when it reaches 28 grams but I don't like the flavor. I'm still enjoying the machine because it's a very good buy and a decent beginner setup. It's easy to use and frother works well.Update: I bought a bottomless porta filter but it doesn't work well because the grinder on it's finest setting doesn't grind coffee fine enough. At least that's the reason I was given. I'd have to buy an already fine ground coffee to try it. The machine isn't a true espresso machine it makes lungo. I put in 14g get 72g liquid. That's not an espresso.
