Dried Tart Cherries - Unsweetened, No Sugar Added, Pitted, Unsulfured, No Preservatives, Non-GMO, 16 oz

Not a fan of adding sugar to dried fruit. Even the tart ones are little sugar balls. If you want to sugar them yourself, that's fine. But to assume that everyone wants that (and so much of it) irks me. So, these are unsweetened tart cherries. I have lupus with inflammatory arthritis, and tart cherry is one of the few home remedy things that relieves the spinal pain. It might not work for you, but it might. And it can be fun trying. By themselves, tart cherries are pretty sour. Sour in a good way if you like sour. But in cookies or in trail mixes that also have chocolate? OMG. They are amazing. Also? This is a good price.

These unsweetened tart cherries are so much better than the sweetened ones we’ve been buying locally. Delicious on cold cereal, in muffins, and cooked into hot cereal.

This brand was suggested as a backup for my dried cherries. I do not recommend this brand. They are tiny, dried out, sour berries. They are much, much smaller than my chosen brand. So bitter as to not be able to eat alone. I've no idea really what to do with them. Canceling this subscription immediately.

Not cheap but healthy with no added auger.

I notice some people complained about the size. Yes, they are just slightly larger than raisins, but who cares, just eat more of 'em! Plus, the size is convenient when adding to baked goods. Have you ever tried chopping up dried cherries? It's impossible, they clump onto the knife. Regarding their hardness, I think they are perfect, they are a little chewy, like raisins. And they taste glorious! They have a nice tangy, sourish vibe that is perfect. The one tiny drawback is the rare small pit piece you run across. Not that big a deal for most people, but I'm old so my mind immediately jumps to, "omg is that a piece of my tooth?!"
