They laid relatively flat after being unfolded and didn’t leave any wrinkles you could see or feel in the rugs. I saw some reviews complain about the smell. Yes, they smell a little “chemically” out of the box. But once set up and with a rug on top, there’s no noticeable smell. I only have the 1/4” version, and the cushion effect is really good, my stiffer rugs feel a lot more comfortable to walk on now. I don’t see any reason to get the thicker versions. Overall, very pleased!

Amazing addition to my rug! The runner that I have in my kitchen was very slippery and not thick at all. I had tried putting down carpet tape between the rug and the flooring, but that just wasn’t working. This rug pad is the perfect thickness to add a slight bit of cushion, but even better it holds the rug in place perfectly yeah it’s easy to move when wanting to sweep. It came for Dad and easily unfolded without any creases at all. Highly recommend!

This rug pad is PERFECT. Before using the pad, my rug had folds and wrinkles and had to be straightened every single day, sometimes more than once a day. With the rug pad, the rug has not moved an inch. It is laying perfectly flat with not a fold or wrinkle in sight! As for the smell, there is a bit of a tobacco smell but my family hasn't even noticed it! Thank you Mohawk for a great product!
