Will this help drown out vocal noise?

No, its probably easier to just leave your wife at home. I don't think you'll ever get her to be quiet if you try to spray her with this.

What is the applied thickness?

Can’t put it on too thick or it will drop off. I let the coats dry somewhat and sprayed until I used up all 3 cans.

Can i use this to help with noise caused by my mid tires?

That’s what I used it for. Bought a new Prius and the tire noise was bad. It reduced the road noise a lot. Also as the tires got more used the noise also was reduced.
